The fur of a cat can vary in pattern, colour and length depending on its breed. Generally it can be influenced by genetics as their coat provides insulation and protection while playing a huge role in communication.
It's very important to prevent matting with your pet cat's fur as this can also be an indicator to their overall health. Now one adorable feline has been spotted on Reddit as the little animal garnered plenty of positive attention on the optical illusions forum. The image shows the cat's fur and it's pretty hilarious if you spend a couple of seconds studying the pattern of it.
In the caption, it read: "This fur colour looks like human open mouth."

And it's safe to say the animal's fur is very unique.
Since it was shared, it racked up 1,100 upvotes and dozens of comments.
One said: "The cat is constantly saying "Ooooooooooooo..." Another added: "I was going to say something else but sure let's go with open mouth."
A third joked: "I hope that cat's name is Whistler." Then a fourth chimed in: "I'm going to need to see him meow."
When it comes to a cat's fur, it's certainly unique. It can be different to one of their siblings by having another colour, pattern or even length coat.
But generally their hairs are influenced by genetics and can vary by breed.
It's worth noting the fur of a cat can even indicate its health. That's because a shiny, smooth coat generally signals a healthy cat, while a dull and dry coat might suggest the animal is a little poorly or stressed.
Cats also shed their coats seasonally, usually in the spring or autumn to replace their winter or summer coats.
Experts suggest regular grooming is incredibly important, especially for cats with undercoats, as it helps prevent uncomfortable and painful matting. A vet may need to remove severe matting.
It comes as a vet previously urged a pet owner to never ignore four things as it could lead to serious consequences.
A UK based vet named Cat has taken to TikTok, where she has over 323,300 followers, to share that owners must pay attention to their pet winking or squinting.
"This could be anything from a simple conjunctivitis, to something stuck in their eye, to them having a problem with controlling how much light is getting into their eyes," she explained.
